The digital self-diagnosis tool brought out by the Association de la Construction du Québec (ACQ) is a simple and intuitive approach that allows companies working in the construction sector to quickly assess and position their digital profile. Officially titled the Boussole Numérique, or the Digital Compass, this self-diagnosis tool is completely free and accessible online.
The digital self-diagnosis tool is a simple and intuitive approach that allows companies working in the construction industry to quickly assess and position their digital capacity, competence and maturity and establish their digital profile.
The ACQ wished to develop a digital tool to help its members carry out a self-assessment of their company in terms of competence, capacity and/or digital maturity. In other words, draw up the digital profile of their company. The main objective of the ACQ is to equip its members and help them in their digital shift by offering them accessible avenues for improvement or resources.
To do this, the ACQ has mandated researchers from the Research Group on Integration and Sustainable Development in the Built Environment (GRIDD) and the Industrial Research Chair on the Integration of Digital Technologies in Construction from the École de Technologie Supérieure to develop the content of this tool.
